Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in civil or criminal law is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs legal assignments involving cases of limited complexity and specialization.
• Authorizes and prepares arrest warrants and search warrants.
• Performs legal research, writes briefs, and handles cases in court.
• Represents the people of the State of Michigan in Probate Court hearings for juvenile delinquency, neglect and abuse, mental incompetency, and guardianship matters.
