Job summary

LHP CAPITAL is seeking a Manager in Training to join our affordable housing division. The MIT program runs six to nine months and blends online learning with hands-on rotations, preparing you for a Community Manager role within the portfolio.

The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership, a customer‑focused mindset, and a commitment to service. Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license are required, with travel between properties expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Experience in property management is a plus but not required.
• Proven background in customer service and people leadership.
• Willingness to travel frequently between properties.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a six- to nine-month Manager in Training program to build confidence, knowledge, and skills in affordable housing.
• Assist experienced managers and cross-functional teams, contributing to resident services and community operations.
• Prepare for a smooth transition into a Community Manager role within the LHP portfolio and long-term growth.
