Job summary

ITA International, headquartered in Newport News, VA, seeks a Junior Project Controls Analyst for our HQ location. You will work with Program Managers, Finance, and Contracts to oversee budgets, costs, and performance reporting on government programs.

The role involves cost tracking, cost reporting, forecasting, and using Costpoint. It requires a 1–3 year background in project controls and a BA/BS in a related field. On-site in Newport News with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls/finance/government programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic analysis).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, budgeting, estimates at completion, and financial performance monitoring.
• Track project costs, labor utilization, funding, and expenditures vs. budgets.
• Prepare recurring financial reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics.
• Monitor burn rates and identify cost or schedule variances.
• Assist revenue forecasting and monthly projections.
