Job summary

A leading power solutions provider in the mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Jr. Sales Engineer. This role involves providing quotes, managing client calls, and building relationships. Candidates should have a B.S. in a related field and experience in industrial sales. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including a base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 plus commissions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience reading and understanding blueprints, schematics and related documents.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes for 150kW Generac generators and below.
• Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
• Prepare cost estimates with engineers, architects, and other professionals.
• Analyze cost-benefit ratios for equipment and propose changes.

Education

B.S. in Electrical, Application, Mechanical or Power Generation

3-5 years of previous industrial sales or product training experience with electric equipment
