Genesis in Vermont is launching an Administrator in Training (AIT) program to prepare future Licensed Nursing Home Administrators. You will rotate through departments, learn center operations, and receive executive mentorship to build the skills needed for licensure and leadership in skilled nursing facilities.

The program emphasizes hands-on ownership of projects, leadership development, and preparation for NAB/state exams while advancing your career in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field is required.
• Experience leading teams or projects in healthcare or related industry is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills, including fluent reading, writing, and speaking English, across teams and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage operations in a skilled nursing environment as part of the Administrator in Training program.
• Rotate through key departments to learn how each contributes to patient care and center performance.
• Prepare for NAB and state licensure exams with structured training, documentation, and preceptor guidance.
• Develop leadership skills through meetings, workshops, and mentorship with experienced leaders.
