Job summary

CyrusOne is seeking an Associate Desktop Engineer to implement, administer, and support endpoint technologies across the IT infrastructure. Work from established designs to support Intune, device enrollment, and policy enforcement, while learning from senior staff.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of desktop support or related internship or coursework.
• Working knowledge of Windows and macOS and Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune and Entra ID.
• Foundational knowledge of Intune concepts: enrollment, compliance, profiles, deployment, and device actions.
• Foundational knowledge of desktop hardware, software installation, provisioning, identity and access concepts, networking basics, and common endpoint troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow documented standards, plans, change procedures, testing and escalation paths.
• Strong troubleshooting, written communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle company information securely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Implement endpoint configurations and deployments using established standards.
• Perform junior-level Intune administration including enrollment support and deployments.
• Monitor Intune compliance, deployment status, and troubleshooting escalated issues.
• Assist with testing and implementing Intune configuration profiles and security settings.
• Support Windows Autopilot and other device provisioning processes.
• Provide advanced endpoint troubleshooting for Windows and macOS devices and MS 365 apps.
• Perform routine Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID tasks.
• Support desktop engineering projects and device lifecycle initiatives.
• Maintain accurate endpoint records across Intune and other systems.
• Create and update technical documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Analyze recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Escalate complex issues to senior resources.
