Arlington Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join The Cottages at Dothan - Midland City, AL. You will support leasing, oversee operations, and help guide a team to deliver excellent resident experiences.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in leasing or property management, strong communication, and a drive to grow into leadership. The role emphasizes Fair Housing compliance, teamwork, and professional development within a supportive, service‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leasing, sales, or property management experience.
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with property management systems.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and driving as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision
• Take full responsibility for the community in the manager’s absence
• Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation
• Assist with resident retention efforts and event planning
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations
• Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards
