Arlington Properties is seeking an experienced Community Manager for The Cottages at Dothan – Midland City, AL. You will lead a high-performing onsite team, drive leasing results, ensure resident satisfaction, and oversee daily operations from leasing to maintenance.

This role emphasizes leadership, budget oversight, Fair Housing compliance, and collaboration with regional and corporate teams. A strong candidate will elevate service standards and foster a positive community culture.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• College-level coursework in business, property management, or hospitality is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in property management with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reporting.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and mentor onsite staff

Qualifications What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or coursework in business, property management, or hospitality preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in property management, including team leadership
• Strong working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
• Financial acumen and confidence managing property budgets and reporting
• Experience using property management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, MRI) preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when necessary
