Arlington Properties is seeking a Leasing Consultant to welcome prospects, support residents, and drive leasing success at The Cottages at Dothan - Midland City, AL. You’ll manage tours, applications and move-ins while promoting the property through outreach and marketing efforts.

The role emphasizes guest relations, pricing accuracy, policy guidance and collaboration with maintenance to ensure show-readiness and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1+ year leasing, sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and leasing policies.
• Basic computer proficiency; comfort with digital tools.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours and explain features.
• Manage the full leasing process from application to move-in.
• Provide accurate pricing, availability and policy information.
• Maintain up-to-date resident files and support retention/renewals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leasing & Resident Relations

• Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and explain community features
• Manage the full leasing process from application to move-in
• Provide accurate information on pricing, availability, and policies
• Maintain up-to-date resident files and support retention and renewal efforts
• Conduct follow-up communications with prospects and residents

Marketing & Visibility

• Promote the property through outreach efforts and marketing ideas
• Monitor advertising platforms and provide insight into digital performance
• Prepare competitive market surveys and analyze leasing trends

Operations & Support

• Collect applications, deposits, and other move-in funds
• Enter service requests and coordinate with the maintenance team
• Help maintain curb appeal and inspect vacant units for show-readiness
• Assist with vendor or contractor access to units when needed

Qualifications What We're Looking For
