Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for The Cottages at Dothan - Midland City, AL. This role supports the Community Manager in leasing, daily operations, and team supervision while preparing to lead a community.

You will handle rent processing, vendor invoices, resident documentation, and retention initiatives. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with knowledge of Fair Housing and MS Office. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum a high school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in leasing, sales, or property management is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision.
• Take full responsibility for the community in the manager’s absence.
• Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation.
• Assist with resident retention efforts and event planning.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations.
• Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards.
