AE2S is seeking an Civil Engineer in Training (EIT) in Minot, ND to grow under project management and engineers. You will develop skills in reports, plans, specs, construction observation and administration, with a focus on career development.

You will assist in design, city infrastructure projects, and field work with survey teams, with occasional travel and pre-employment screenings. Join a respected, award-winning civil/ environmental firm with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) certification.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and administration on water and municipal related projects.
• Assist Project Manager with the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates.
• Assist in design and construction of site design, streets, water and sewer infrastructure, and municipal facilities.
• Assist surveyors with field work for data gathering and construction staking.
• Assist in preparation of technical reports.
• Occasional travel to off-site locations including overnight stays.
