Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support senior engineers on a range of public works and master-planned community projects in the western US. You will help prepare engineering drawings and support construction administration for roadway and site development tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil3D and MS Office.
• Experience with public agency projects and design development.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and managing project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Support engineers with grading, drainage, and street improvements design documents.
• Prepare and revise documentation from feasibility through construction closeout.
• Participate in constructability reviews and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with design teams and external consultants to ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform field work and collect data to support civil system design decisions.
