Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Sandy Springs, GA, is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor for our Emergency Department. You will lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals, coordinate training, and help shape clinical excellence in fast-paced cases.

Qualifications

Experience leading veterinary staff in a fast-paced ER environment.
Proven ability to train and mentor veterinary technicians.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
Coach team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs and seek assistance with escalated situations.
Work with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
Identify conflicts and seek assistance in resolution.
Provide feedback leadership and develop performance improvement plans.
Other related duties as assigned.
