Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Overland Park, KS is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our busy Emergency and Critical Care department as a part-time team member.

In this fast-paced role you will monitor anesthesia, triage emergencies, perform radiography, place IV catheters, manage critical patients and mentor teammates while delivering compassionate care to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed or eligible Veterinary Technician with experience in emergency and critical care.
• Proficient in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Skilled in triaging emergencies and obtaining vitals.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and monitor anesthesia equipment.
• Triage emergencies and record vitals (temperature, heart rate, resp rate, BP).
• Perform digital radiography with proper patient positioning.
