Heart of Texas Veterinary Specialty Center in Round Rock, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician. You will provide end-to-end care for our patients, from outpatient treatments and lab work to admitting and discharging animals, delivering compassionate service to clients.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of recent experience in a veterinary practice.
• Strong veterinary skills, including the ability to perform and assist with routine medical procedures.
• Ability to safely and appropriately handle animals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Previous emergency experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Emergency Veterinary Technicians perform a variety of animal-health duties and ensure quality pet and client care.
• The Emergency Technician should be proficient in duties including but not limited to: client care and communication, efficient patient assessments, quick response to emergencies, patient monitoring, venipuncture, Iv catheter placement, patient recovery, anesthetic monitoring, diagnostic imaging, and medical math.
