BluePearl Pet Hospital in East Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our busy Critical Care team. The role offers fast-paced, hands-on duties and opportunities to expand your anesthesia, monitoring, and radiography skills while collaborating with skilled veterinary professionals.

The successful candidate will be proficient in anesthesia, triage, radiography, and animal patient care, with a passion for mentoring colleagues and delivering compassionate client

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Technician in Emergency and Critical Care.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia and use monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergencies and obtain vitals (temp, HR, RR, BP).
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique and patient positioning.
• Understand normal vitals ranges and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Interpret blood pressure and vital signs; respond to changes.
• Identify at-risk patients and initiate CPR.
• Administer medications via appropriate routes and durations.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place feeding tubes and central line catheters.
• Mentor and train coworkers; address client concerns.
