Qualifications

• NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program preferred.

• Broad knowledge of animal science and basic pharmacology.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Word; familiarity with industry sites.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians and technicians to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and boarding areas; maintain clean, disinfected spaces.
• Obtain patient information, histories, and visit reason; update records.
• Calm pets during procedures; monitor vital signs post-surgery and during hospitalization.
• Provide owner education on pet care and post-procedure instructions.
• Assist with basic health checks and routine lab tests as directed.
