Job summary
Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 open-concept hospitals, treating emergencies from routine cases to complex surgeries, including exotics. You’ll lead on the hospital floor with mentorship, VEG Education programs, and unlimited ER CE.

Qualifications
- A DVM or equivalent degree.
- Emergency medicine experience, including emergency surgery and endoscopy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long hours.
- Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.
- Comfortable in a noisy environment with odors.
Responsibilities
- Answer medical questions and provide guidance as needed.
- Handle emergencies from routine to complex surgeries, including exotics.
- Gather signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and exam findings.
- Conduct exams and required diagnostics.
- Create diagnostic and therapeutic plans and communicate with clients.
- Prepare estimates and present them to clients.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Educate clients on procedures, tests, and care.
