Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24/7 ER team in Nashua. You will deliver high‑quality emergency care, lead the floor with confidence, and mentor peers as part of a culture focused on growth and continuous learning.

You will perform procedures from routine to complex surgeries and exotics with access to VEG Education programs and CE opportunities. A DVM degree and passion for emergency medicine are required.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• Live and breathe emergency medicine and anesthesia procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast-paced ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer medical questions and provide guidance to clients by phone and in person.
• See patients immediately as part of triage and provide urgent care for diverse cases including exotics.
• Perform physical exams, diagnostic tests (ultrasound, X-ray, bloodwork), and develop diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to clients and estimate costs.
• Perform surgeries and endoscopic procedures as needed, with emphasis on quality patient care.
