VEG is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team of VEGgies. You will handle ER cases, perform surgeries, and use endoscopy as needed in a fast-paced, mentorship-focused environment. The role emphasizes client communication, continuous learning, and providing premier emergency care for pets.

You will work in a collaborative hospital setting with opportunities for clinical advancement, travel stipends for ER CE, and a strong focus on growth and mentorship within the VEG network.

Qualifications

• Must have a DVM or equivalent degree and be committed to emergency medicine.
• Ability to perform emergency surgeries and endoscopy as needed.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a rotating schedule.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced ER environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency cases, including routine surgeries and exotics.
• Provide triage, assessments, and develop diagnostic/therapeutic plans.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options with clients.
• Educate clients on aftercare and preventative measures.
• Maintain medical records and participate in training/mentorship programs.
