Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists - NASA Parkway in Webster, TX is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a state-of-the-art 12,000-square-foot hospital offering 24/7 emergency care and access to 12+ specialty services.

This full-time role features a rotating schedule, a $25,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, CE support, and mentorship within Ethos Veterinary Health.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure.
• Internship trained or ER experience.
• Strong communication and client-centered approach.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care including triage and hospitalization management.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, specialists, and support teams.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, specialists, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure.
• Internship trained, previous ER experience or an experienced veterinarian who is interested in transitioning into emergency medicine.
• Confidence managing cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
