Ethos Veterinary Health in Webster, Texas, seeks a full-time emergency veterinarian to join Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists – NASA Parkway. You will deliver high-quality emergency care in a state-of-the-art 12,000-square-foot hospital with access to Ethos’ specialty network.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Texas veterinary licensure
• Internship trained, previous ER experience or an experienced veterinarian transitioning into emergency medicine
• Confidence managing cases in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent cases
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through receiving new cases, triage, and management of hospitalized patients
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, specialists, and support teams to provide seamless care
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and learning

At Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists – NASA Parkway, you’ll do more than practice—you’ll have the opportunity to grow, collaborate, and help shape emergency medicine at our newly opened Webster hospital.

You’ll practice in a state-of-the-art, 12,000-square-foot hospital designed for advanced emergency and specialty care while benefiting from the resources and collaborative support of the larger Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists network.

Our Webster hospital offers Emergency, Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Radiology, along with advanced diagnostic capabilities including an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and CT. Our team also has direct access to the expertise and collaborative support of more than 12 specialty services available through our flagship GCVS hospital.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, specialists, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
