North Dallas Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NDVESH) in Frisco, TX seeks a skilled Emergency Veterinarian for a full-time role. Three 13-hour shifts per week with rotating days and nights offer generous time off between rotations.

This position features a sign-on bonus up to $50,000 and compensation around $200,000 plus production (23% production, no negative accrual). Join a collaborative, 24/7 emergency team with access to advanced imaging and critical care services.

Our hospital was designed to support both exceptional medicine and efficient clinical practice, with dedicated canine and feline ICUs, two surgical suites, separate isolation wards, an endoscopy suite, open treatment space, and advanced technology including 32-slice CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy, high-flow oxygen, and 24/7 radiology, cytology, and pathology support.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or two years of full-time experience practicing emergency medicine for our ideal candidate. We are also open to mentoring new grads or any DVM that has an interest in exploring Emergency Medicine.
• Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
