VEG ER for Pets in San Antonio seeks a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician. You will work on the front lines of urgent care, handling triage, treatments, monitoring, and critical care alongside veterinarians and staff.

You will comfort pet parents during stressful moments and contribute to high-quality, compassionate care. You should be a CVT/RVT/LVT with AVMA-accredited training, able to lift 25 kg, stand long hours, and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state; VTS a plus.
• 1+ year in veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Ability to use practice management software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line nursing care and emotional support in emergencies.
• Triaging, treatments, monitoring, anesthesia, and critical care duties.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and CPR as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team and contribute to care plans.
