VEG ER for Pets in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to support front-line care. You’ll triage, assist with treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing beside our doctors, delivering compassionate care to pets and their families in moments of need.

Requirements include an AVMA-accredited program, CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credentials, and 1+ year in a veterinary tech role with emergency experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state of placement.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role, emergency experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assist in emergency treatments and diagnostics.
• Perform nursing care, anesthesia support, monitoring, and critical care procedures.
