BluePearl Pet Hospital in Skokie, IL is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians to join our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. This role offers hands-on anesthesia, triage, imaging, and critical patient monitoring in a fast-paced hospital.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Calculate medical dosing and administer medications.
• Place intravenous catheters and perform phlebotomy.
• Place and manage feeding tubes and central lines.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
