Job summary

The Regional Veterinary Referral Center invites applications for a Technician Supervisor on rotating shifts. You will lead medical technical staff, schedule the team, and uphold patient care standards in a busy emergency and specialty hospital located in Springfield, VA.

Ideal candidates bring RVT/LVT/CVT credentials and 8+ years of veterinary experience, including 3+ years in emergency settings. Strong leadership, communication, and client service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Current RVT/LVT/CVT license in good standing.
• 8+ years veterinary experience, with minimum 3 years in emergency or specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes for medical record keeping and billing.
• Collect and process work charts and enter inpatient charges.
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and handle client billing.
• Process payments and monthly statements, resolve escalated financial issues.
• Assist with accounts receivable monitoring and reporting.
• Prepare and mail invoices or statements to customers.
• Be dependable, punctual, and lead the staff by example.
