VEG ER for Pets in Madison, WI seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line team. You will handle urgent cases, support doctors, perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing with compassion.

The ideal candidate is a CVT/RVT/LVMT with AVMA-accredited training, 1+ year in veterinary tech (ER preferred), and a calm, communicative approach. Night/weekend shifts and generous mentorship are available.

Qualifications

• CVT or RVT credential in the state of VEG practice is required
• 1+ year of experience as a veterinary technician, ER or specialty preferred
• Comfort with fast-paced, high-stakes emergencies and advanced nursing tasks

Responsabilités

• Provide front-line emergency nursing from triage to discharge
• Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, imaging, and critical care
• Deliver compassionate support to pets and their families
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth patient flow
• Perform CPR and other life-saving interventions as needed
• Manage monitoring, IVs, meds, and tube placements
