Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You will work alongside doctors to deliver swift, compassionate care during critical moments.

You’ll be involved in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and nursing, while supporting pet parents through stressful times. We value growth, mentorship, and a dedication to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology (AVMA-accredited) required.
• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in state required.
• Prior emergency or specialty medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter throughout tests and treatments.
• Deliver nursing care, treatments and emotional support in critical moments.
• Manage meds and monitoring from IVs to transfusions.
• Communicate as a teammate and help shape care plans.
• Perform CPR and support RECOVER training.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placements.
• Assist anesthesia, including for fragile patients.
• Utilize advanced techniques like central lines and ultrasounds.
