Job summary

South Metro Animal Emergency Care in Apple Valley, MN seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT or LVT) to join a 24/7 AAHA-accredited emergency team. You will work closely with DVMs, perform initial triage, monitor anesthesia, and advocate for hospitalized patients while mentoring teammates.

We offer day, swing, and overnight shifts with competitive hourly pay and a sign-on bonus. You’ll have autonomy, strong team support, and opportunities to grow emergency medicine skills.

Qualifications

• Credentialed CVT/LVT with passion for patient care
• Ability to work effectively in emergency medicine
• Strong communication with clients and team

Responsibilities

• Perform initial triage and collaborate with DVMs
• Review treatment plans with clients with empathy
• Place IV catheters, NG tubes, central lines, and PICC lines
• Monitor and advocate for hospitalized patients
• Mentor and support teammates
