Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group The PC is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Woodbury, MN. You will join a fast-paced team delivering gold-standard care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing.

You’ll work closely with doctors, support staff, and pet parents, handling emergencies with empathy and professional composure, while growing your skills through mentorship and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician in the state where VEG practice is located.
• 1+ year of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty preferred.
• Ability to use practice management software and EMR systems.
• Able to stand, lift up to 25 kg, and work in a noisy, odorous environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Perform diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle IVs, CRIs, blood products, imaging, and sample collection.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to keep care flowing.
• Contribute to CPR efforts and utilize advanced techniques as needed.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and pet parents.
