The role requires prior veterinary technician assistant or kennel tech experience, ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and a compassionate, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with basic patient care and husbandry, including feeding, cleaning, and maintaining patient comfort.
• Safely handling and restraining patients during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Support accurate and timely medical record documentation.
• Performing basic laboratory tests and preparing samples as directed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked hospital environment.
• Ensuring exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment are prepared and ready for patient care.
• Supporting veterinarians and technicians to ensure efficient daily hospital operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support patient care, team success, and hospital operations.
