Heart of Texas, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Round Rock, TX, is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to deliver real-time care in a fast-paced ER. You’ll triage, diagnose, and treat patients, performing surgeries and coordinating with technicians to ensure excellent outcomes.

The role requires DVM, Texas license, and a passion for emergency medicine in a 24/7 AAHA-accredited hospital serving Round Rock and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required.
• Active State Veterinary Board license in the state of employment.
• Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Experience in emergency medicine or internship recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients.
• Perform surgeries and manage hospitalized cases.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans with technicians to ensure quality care.
• Contribute to high-quality execution of care in a 24/7 ER setting.
