Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking a Clinical Staff Manager (CSM) to lead and develop our hospital's support staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and VEG culture. The CSM will oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management, working closely with the Medical Director and regional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a clinical veterinary technician role.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Must be enrolled in a Credentialing Support Program (CSP) and able to become a Credentialed Veterinary Technician within one year of employment.
• Flexibility to work 5 days per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong odors.
• Committed to developing leadership skills and attending required meetings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a hospital's support staff team and shifts, fostering a learning culture.
• Lead onboarding and training for new staff in collaboration with Medical Director and Talent Partners.
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and performance management in coordination with hospital leadership and People Partners.
• Partner with hospital leadership to optimize workflow, patient care, and customer experience.
• Develop and maintain key hospital processes for staff scheduling, onboarding, and documentation.
• Support staff payroll, budgets, and expense approvals under leadership guidance.
• Promote inclusivity and equitable treatment across the VEG team.
