Job summary

Brief Media, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Weekend Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and their pets in a fast-paced emergency hospital. You will greet clients, handle calls, update medical records, and support veterinarians and technicians with compassion.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and the ability to stay calm under pressure during evening and overnight hours on a Friday–Sunday schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in veterinary reception or client services preferred.
• Experience in an emergency veterinary setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and empathy in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a compassionate, professional approach in a fast-paced veterinary emergency hospital.
• Answer incoming calls, respond to client questions, and provide exceptional veterinary customer service.
• Serve as liaison between clients, veterinarians, and staff; provide timely patient updates under the medical team.
• Collect deposits and process payments for emergency services; explain pricing and policies.
• Schedule emergency appointments and coordinate patient flow; maintain accurate EMR records.
