Job summary

Dana Safety Supply, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Technician/Installer to professionally install, integrate, and maintain high-tech 12-volt equipment in law enforcement and public safety vehicles.

The role involves wiring, component mounting, and network/configuration tasks, with industry-specific training provided for candidates with automotive/electronics background.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of vehicle wiring and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• 2+ years of automotive or marine 12V experience preferred (not required for right candidate).
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate 12V electrical components (light bars, sirens, flashers, in-car video, radios).
• Mount and secure vehicle hardware (partitions, consoles, racks, laptops, printers).
• Install antennas, routers, GPS systems and config networking gear.
• Test, diagnose, and repair 12V circuits to ensure safety and functionality.
