Job summary

Dana Safety Supply, a national leader in public safety equipment, seeks an Emergency Vehicle Technician/Installer & Ballistic Glass to join our growing team. The role covers installation, repair, and maintenance of ballistic glass in law enforcement and emergency vehicles, plus integration of high‑tech 12‑volt equipment.

You will install light bars, sirens, in‑car video systems, and GPS; test circuits; ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years automotive or marine 12v experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repetitively and maintain detail orientation.
• EVT Certification desired but not required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install ballistic glass in police and emergency vehicles.
• Professionally install 12v electrical components (light bars, sirens, radios).
• Mount vehicle hardware and secure racks, consoles, and laptops.
• Configure antennas, routers, and GPS systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair 12v circuits for safety compliance.
