Job summary

Dana Safety Supply in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Emergency Vehicle Technician/Installer to join our growing team. This role installs, integrates, and maintains high-tech 12-volt equipment in law enforcement, public safety, and federal vehicles.

You will install light bars, sirens, cameras, radios, and related hardware, test for safety, and troubleshoot 12V circuits to ensure 100% functionality.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of vehicle wiring and ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Minimum of 2 years of automotive or marine 12V experience preferred.
• Physical dexterity to handle wiring and lift up to 75 lbs.
• EVT Certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate 12V electrical components including light bars, sirens, flashers, in-car video systems, and radio communications.
• Mount and secure vehicle hardware such as transport partitions, consoles, equipment racks, laptops, and printers.
• Install and configure antennas, routers, and GPS systems.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair 12V circuits and equipment to ensure 100% functionality and safety compliance.
