Job summary

LEHR in Nashville, TN is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician to join our Nashville team. If you enjoy building, wiring, repairing, or customizing vehicles, this role offers on‑the‑job training and real hands-on work installing emergency equipment.

You will remove factory components, install light bars, sirens, cameras, 12V wiring, and more, while following safety procedures. Training provided; strong detail and teamwork needed; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work around vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Experience with 12V electrical systems
• Preferred: Ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams.
