LEHR is hiring Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installers to join a team dedicated to outfitting critical police, fire, and utility fleets. The role focuses on wiring, installing, and testing emergency equipment inside vehicles, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

The position offers a starting wage of $25 per hour, comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and ongoing training. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with some overtime, no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with 12V electrical systems or wiring.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment (light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions).
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.
• Track hours and job progress.

Responsibilities:

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory
• Ability to track hours/job progress

Qualifications:

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Proven 12V experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be Punctual
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
