Job summary

LEHR, located in Troy, VA, is seeking a motivated Emergency Vehicle 12V Installer to join our team. Qualifications

• Required items listed in job posting include experience with 12V electrical systems, EVT certification or one year experience with emergency vehicle equipment installation, ability to read schematics or wiring diagrams, experience using hand tools and power tools, mechanical aptitude, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around vehicles, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and on a team, valid driver’s license with a clean record, and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.
