Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer (Full Time) at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The role involves installing and servicing 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment, configuring new units, upgrading fleets, and handling wiring routes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work safely with tools.
• Basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment-light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more.
• Configure brand-new units, upgrade existing fleets, and service prior installations.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM vehicle interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting, performing all electrical and physical modifications necessary for emergency installations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Keep workspace, tools, and environment safe, clean, and organized.
• Learn cutting-edge techniques and new product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop duties; complete required paperwork promptly.
