Job summary

Advocate Health’s Navicent Health Medical Center in Milledgeville, GA seeks a full-time unit clerk for night shifts (7p–7a). The role includes order entry, chart maintenance, and acting as central communication hub for the Emergency Department. Candidates should have 1 year of computer/public-facing experience and strong communication skills.

Benefits eligible; 36 hours per week with a pay range of $18.85–$28.30 per hour. Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• One year experience with computer programs and public contact.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work in stressful environments.
• Must have good communication skills and handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Assures timely and accurate order entry and verification.
• Relays orders to Pharmacy and other departments.
• Maintains medical records and HIPAA compliance.
• Serves as central communication hub for the unit.
• Maintains orderly central station and equipment.
