Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current valid RN Georgia license with no restrictions.
• At least one year of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within one year of employment.
• PALS certification is preferred and strongly encouraged.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting individual patient care needs.
• Accurately reports and records patient conditions and any significant changes.
• Administers medications as ordered by the physician.
• Documents all verbal physician orders and verifies them.
• Delegates or assigns nursing tasks to competent team members.
• Maintains infection control practices and participates in continuous quality improvement.
