Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in trauma/emergency situations
• Assist in set up of equipment for procedures
• Follow infection control practices
• Knowledge and direct experience with orthopedic injuries and splint placement
• Assist nurses in transporting patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL)
• Collect specimens
• Perform EKGs
• Conduct finger stick blood sugar checks
