Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking an Emergency Trauma Technician to support nursing and medical staff in the Emergency Department in Sacramento. Responsibilities include ECGs, wound care, patient transports, vital signs, and equipment setup, with emphasis on asepsis and accurate documentation.

A on-site role requiring BLS/CPR, CPT license and EMT/MA/CNA/Paramedic certification. This 90% time, full-time position supports Level 1 trauma care in a busy ED, with a structured shift schedule and

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of California as Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
• MA/CNA/EMT/Paramedic certification or CPT license required; at least two years of EMT/Paramedic/MA experience with CPT.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and utilize medical terminology appropriately.
• Ability to set priorities and organize work; work accurately and quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• 50% - Perfor ms technical care to patients.
• 20% - Performs selected procedures.
• 20% - Front desk duties.
• 10% - Certifications, staff meetings, or orientation/training.
