Advanced Medical Transport is hiring for a Full-time Day shift Dispatch at Illini Medical Transport in East Peoria, IL. The role involves receiving requests, determining urgency, and dispatching appropriate units while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing ability of 35-40 words per minute.
• Data entry experience.
• Previous experience as a System Status Controller preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming requests for ambulance, interfacility transfer service, and wheelchair service
• Determine call urgency and location of the situation
• Dispatches the appropriate unit to respond to service requests based on type of call and scheduled time
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Prepare accurate and timely statistical reports and appropriate paperwork
• Follow operations service center policies and procedures
