Advanced Medical Transport of Central Illinois is hiring full-time EMT-Basics for Illini Medical Transport in East Peoria, IL. You will assess patients, document care, and transport them across facilities while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Requirements include a valid Illinois EMT-Basic license, BLS CPR, and a current IL driver's license. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and shift coverage between 0630 and 2130.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Illinois EMT-Basic license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
• Must possess a valid Illinois driver\'s license.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients according to EMS protocols and physician orders.
• Complete company and patient paperwork accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
• Transport patients between hospitals, nursing homes, residences, and facilities.
• Operate EMS vehicle following safety policies and state laws.
• Assist paramedics in advanced life support when needed.
• Maintain current licenses and professional appearance.
• Represent the company positively at events when required.
