Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City is seeking an Emergency Technician for a per diem, part-time role with variable shifts on weekdays and weekends. You will assist physicians and nurse practitioners during procedures, maintain sterile technique, and provide supplies and equipment to the emergency team to optimize patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency setting in collaboration with the emergency team.
• Assist physicians/NP during procedures by delivering sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.
