Job summary

Providence Seaside Hospital seeks an experienced emergency care professional to work with the team, assisting physicians during procedures and supplying sutures, instruments, and equipment while maintaining sterile technique to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required.
• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) annually required.
• 1 year relevant patient care or clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures.
• Provide direct patient care in collaboration with the emergency team.

Job description

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.
